Buford-Thompson Company has earned an excellent reputation within the construction and architectural community for quality construction.

We have been recognized by the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Institute of Architects as only the third general contractor to receive its prestigious Quality in Construction Award.

With a large percentage of our business being public sector hard bid work, we take great pride in being recognized for our efforts.

We accomplish these results with the development of an attitude on the project that "quality does matter." We are proactive in problem solving; we have schedule "look-aheads" and other activities which encourage this attitude among our forces and the subcontractors to plan and do it right the first time.

Project site activities that encourage quality include the development of weekly "deficiency" lists or "punch lists" which address and identify items to be corrected as the project progresses.
