Richard B. Thompson
President
For the last 32 years, Rick has been President of BTC, which he co-founded in 1979.
Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Texas A & M University in 1971. While a student at A & M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and received a commission in the Army.
Active in professional organizations, Mr. Thompson has served as President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and been a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Building Branch of AGC.

Sammy Martin
Vice President, Operations Manager
Sammy Martin has over 35 years experience in the construction industry. His vast knowledge of construction methods and materials makes him an asset to any project. He is responsible for all projects from conceptual design through punchlist and warranty, and managed more than $300 million in K-12 construction.

Patti Boswell
Accounting and Office Manager
Corporate Secretary
Patti Boswell, who joined the company in 1987, serves as accounting and office manager. She has over 25 years experience in construction job cost accounting and staff supervision. She was elected corporate secretary in 1999.
In 1993, Patti was honored as Committee Member of the Year by the Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of General Contractors (AGC), and has served as Chapter Treasurer for the National Association of Women in Construction, chaired the Construction Administration Committee for The Associated General Contractors of American, Inc. as well as receiving the award for Committee Member of the Year.
