Upgrading the School Experience

It’s rare that a high school construction project delights both athletes and members of the band, but somehow Fort Worth’s Buford-Thompson Company (BTC) did just that in Glen Rose Independent School District located in the western Metroplex.

The company, which recently completed a move of its own to the west side of Fort Worth at 1450 N. Jim Wright Freeway, served as general contractor on a $16.6 million project that brought a new 79,130-sf basketball/volleyball arena to the school district while simultaneously converting the old gymnasium into a 7,880-sf band hall.

The new athletic facility certainly gives Glen Rose’s basketball and volleyball players and fans a place to play and spectate in style.
